http://goo.gl/D2n2Ze
The EFYTimes presents this article about student texting while studying. In a recent study more than 500 students participated in The Impact of Technology on College Student Study Habits that was commissioned by McGraw-Hill Education.

With more than 50 percent of students admitted to using computers, tablets, and phones for non-study activities, such as texting friends, while studying.

However there are some benefits as students are using smart phone and tablets more to study these days, and these digital study tools are saving students time.

Students are reporting they feel more productive and less stressed, feeling “better prepared for classes” and had “improved studying efficiency” as a result of technology.

This is an interesting read if you are interested in the impact that technology has on studying and learning.
